On the 1st October 2014, Match Maker Associates (MMA) has signed a contract with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to design a Legumes Integrated Value Chain Development (IVCD) Project in Tanzania, focusing on Common Beans and Groundnuts.
This contract is a continuation of the Legumes landscaping assignment that MMA concluded successfully with BMGF in March 2014. The new assignment is interesting to MMA, as it will open up new partnerships in the Legumes sub sector in Tanzania, which has a lot of growth potential in future.
In this assignment MMA has brought on board its own team of consultants and in addition to that gender and nutrition specialists since these are among the important issues that should be mainstreamed in the project design.
The assignment is expected to be concluded in January 2015. We are devoted to fulfil the assignment in a sucessful way that meets the needs of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
